Best Mystery Books to Read

We all love a little mystery in our lives. It fuels our adrenaline and keeps us awake at night. It makes us want to skip to the future and see the truth and be done with it. But at the same time, you love the thrill, the chase. You don’t want it to end.

Since mystery is such a popular genre, I couldn’t resist posting my favorite books in this genre. And trust me when I say this I have so many favorites that I could not simply decide what my top-five were. Hence, this time, I decided to post seven of my favorite mystery books:

1) And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

I will be honest- I only started reading mystery because of this book. Before this, I didn’t pay any heed to mystery books. But once my eyes fell on the cover, I knew that I had to read this book. And I am glad that I did.

Buy And Then There Were None here.

2) Angels & Demons by Dan Brown

Alright, I will admit. I bought this book only because of its cover. But can you blame me? Have you seen anything so simplistic yet beautiful? But trust me when I say this, the content inside is just as beautiful as its cover.

Buy Angels & Demons here.

3) The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

This was a brilliant read. This book makes your head spin. In a good way. Once I started reading this, I couldn’t put the book down. And even when I did, I could not wait to pick it back up!

Buy The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo here.

4) The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

I can see why this book is a bestseller. This is a fast-paced, gripping, mystery book that will glue itself to your hands. You can’t put it down. No kidding!

Buy The Girl on the Train here.

5) Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Flynn, in my opinion, is a very talented author. She starts the book slow, building up suspense and secrets, until it all starts coming together and falling apart at the same time. It’s beautiful. It’s creative. And above all, it’s a great read!

Buy Gone Girl here.

6) Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

Well, we are talking about mystery books aren’t we? And Agatha Christie is the queen of mysteries!

7) Later by Stephen King

Want a horror/mystery/supernatural book? Why worry? We have Stephen King!

I can’t remember liking a book so much. I devoured this book in one day straight. If I could, I would have finished it in an hour!
